Participant Privileges

As a registered participant in the Encore classes, you will be entitled to use the following facilities at the Gulf Coast Community College:

Bookstore
Course textbooks, along with related materials and supplies are available.  These include school and office supplies, college apparel and other imprinted merchandise, and many other school items.

Library
The college library provides research materials and Internet access. There are 80,000 books and over 900 journal subscriptions.  You must present a photo I.D. and your Student Identification Card to check out a book.

Amelia G. Trapper Center For The Arts
Encore participants may attend many events without charge . 

New Wellness Center
The new Wellness Center includes a pool, a hydro-therapy pool, and a fully equipped weight and fitness room.

Athletic Events
Admission is free to all athletic events by presenting your Student Identification Card

 
Note:  Operating hours of the above named facilities and scheduled events will be available at the Encore Welcome Station at the Reception and on each class day.
