Continuing Professional Education
Gulf Coast Community College is a Department of Professional Regulation Board of
Accountancy approved provider of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) courses to
Florida CPAs. (Provider 0001058).
Computer courses in Introduction to Computers,
Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word,
Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Publisher,
Microsoft FrontPage and Introduction to the Internet, qualify for the Technical Business Category CPE
credit for Florida CPAs. Written proof of attendance will be supplied.
Each course, offered over two Saturdays or weekday evenings for four weeks (depending on the class), is equivalent to
12 CPE hours.
CPAs wishing to receive CPE credits must complete a form at the time of
registration
in the Lifelong Learning office indicating name and address, Florida CPA Certificate
Number, and the name and date of the course. Participants will receive a syllabus at the
class. Upon completion of the course, participants will be mailed written proof of
attendance as documentation.
